About Nurturing Young Minds: Whole Child Homeschool Support
I’m the founder of Nurturing Young Minds, and my work is rooted in a belief I’ve seen hold true again and again: learning becomes possible when children are understood in context — not rushed, labeled, or optimized.
I offer whole‑child homeschool support for parents who feel the weight of learning decisions and want a steadier way forward. Families who sense that learning challenges are about more than effort or motivation — and who want language for what they’re seeing without blame or urgency.
I’m a Colorado credentialed teacher, a Montessori certified educator, and the former owner and founder of Heart Song Montessori, where I worked closely with children and families across a wide range of learning needs. I’ve spent over a decade supporting homeschool families, both professionally and personally.
I’m also a homeschooling parent to a neurodivergent child — an experience that deeply informs my work and reinforces the importance of pace, regulation, and context in learning.
Through the Cultivating a Space to Learn framework, I help parents slow down, notice patterns, and understand learning in a way that reduces pressure rather than adding to it. This work is not about fixing children or prescribing rigid systems. It’s about creating the conditions where learning can breathe again.
I believe regulation comes before instruction, understanding comes before action, and clarity comes before choice.
When parents feel steadier and more supported, learning at home becomes steadier too.
You’re not behind. You’re paying attention.
